This is my 4th wedding cake (still practicing on willing friends), my first with basic white tiers... Neatness is tough when you can't hide behind the detail! A little bulging of filling but as a result I read about dams on CC so now for some more practice! Lots of animals as they run a fostering charity, the tree came from their invitation and the topper was designed to look like a silhouette from any angle since the cake was to be in the middle of the room. As a tip for cutting detailed shapes in modelling choc: roll it thin then transfer to a stone cutting board thats been in the freezer- it stops the stretching as you cut (a tile would work too).

I told my bride-to-be you may have any design you like.... almost regretted it! lol. Really happy in the end though :) Hope you like it too!

These were guest photos, I never actually took my own (nut case!) but when I get the photog's one I'll post it here :)

Pretty simple design relying on really good fresh berries so thanks to the bride for choosing this as my first ever wedding cake!
Below is a little heart gift cake just for them to share incorporating all three fillings, this was also a first- my first chocolate wrap, the heart shaped wrap I found tricky but happy in the end ??
Cake is 2 tiers of white choc and raspberry, one with white choc ganache, one with milk choc mousse, and bottom tier is Double choc rich whipped dark ganache filled.
Hope you like it too!
