This is an almond pound and red velvet cake covered in white chocolate ganache and fondant. The scrollwork and pearl accents mimic the wedding invitations, and the gumpaste starfish and shells were made from silicone molds I made from real starfish and shells. I had to haul this cake 3 1/2 hours away on some rough roads in spots. I had total piece of mind since I used the cakestackers.com support system.

I made this cake for a friend and used elements of the lace from her dress on the cake.
