Hello, I am new in the cake world, although this is my love since I was 8 yrs old. It was only last year that I was able to focus on my passion and developed my skill in baking (self taught), My love for cakes sparks again because of a friend request. I know that I still have to perfect my cake creations just like everyone else here in Cake Central. All of the cake creations that has been uploaded by other members are so Awesome!!

Hello! I too am a newbee in the cake world My passion for cake only began about 18 months ago and I must say that it is a gift from God because I can't even explain how this came about in my life, especially since I have no formal training or experience at all. But the best advice that I can give you is practice, practice, practice. Take every opportunity you can to bake and use your creative imagination in your decorating. You will be amazed at what you can do when you put your mind and heart to it! Also, utilize YouTube to learn different techniques, they have a wealth of information and tutorials. Cake Central is an awesome community to be a part of...such an abundance of talented cake artists in one place can only be beneficial to newness like ourselves. I wish you the best of luck in your cake ventures! Be inspired and do what you love

Hey guys!! Nice to be welcomed! Your cakes are amazing and I have loads to learn. I started doing this for about 8 months now. Went to the supermarket and decided I was going to bake a cake and now I have people asking me to make them here and there. I love it...though still have so far to go!! Both your cakes are stunning and its nice to be comforted and advised how to carry out my cake dreams! ...xx
