I tried to get a little bit of perspective in the design but it didn't turn out as well as I saw it in my head! All carved pound cake with BC- a pain in the butt to cover!

Making caricatures of your friends as chickens was possibly the hardest part of this fun little cake! A tip for wood; after colouring brown and graining with a dark brown lightly brush some white petal dust mixed with water- it really ages the wood;...

The golf bag is carved cake and the flag pole & club handles are spagetti painted with a misture of cocoa butter and powdered colour.
One suggestion if you make a golf bag; don't make it a traditional old leather brown colour... it took me some time...

A real teenage boys cake! The figure under the camo blanket is carved cake and the rifle is gum paste left to set and then carved as this seemed to give a better straight edge, glad I made two though as the first one snapped!

I tried to show the hot ring below the pan too.... the foamy contentsof the pan is just royal icing, I wish I'd known about piping gell then- it would have added a little more realism I think....
