This cake was sculpted for Salon Culinaire, Birmingham UK last week  in the Sculpted Novelty Class in which it received Gold and Best in Class, there were six gold medals awarded in this category so I was very pleased.

We celebrated mother's day 2 weeks early as my brother was going away for 6 weeks and would miss it.  My mom and grandma were in love with this cake and that's the best thing you can hope for!

Two fondant covered cakes, decorated with 50/50 fondant and gumpaste. The board was covered with royal icing to Look like the ocean. I really enjoyed making this cake.
