I received an order for 6 dz of these 4" cookies for homecoming week in the school colors. I didn't have enough time to order a cookie cutter I wanted so I ended up cutting all of these out with a template by hand 9oh my!) It was quite a few and I would do things different next time, but for the first run I was ok with them.

The "cake" is 5 layers of chocolate chip cookies with buttercream filling and decorated with buttercream icing. The "cookies" are my cake batter dropped by 2T scoops and baked on a cookie sheet. Some are iced with vanilla buttercream and others with chocolate buttercream. There were suppose to only be 11 candles around the cake, but I spaced them wrong so there are 12... but shh... the birthday boy didn't care.

This order I got to order new cookie cutters for! My special sugar cookie recipe with antonia's royal icing. Was for a birthday boy, also did 7 other individually wrapped cookies in the notes and guitars. The only think I don't care for on this one is the guitar strings and the blue bucket, I wish I would have picked up a silver one instead - oh well next time.

I did this for the same order I did the Red,White, Blue ribbons. They were a hit at the comapny that ordered them. I love this ribbon cutter, I am going to find a lot of use for it, that is for sure!

I had an order where the customer just wanted cookies, So I got to try out my new cookie cutter! This one I did the red white and blue. I used my family sugar cookie recipe and Antonia's Royal icing (which is getting rave reviews!)

These are two variations of the cookie boquets that I did for easter. I found the tins at Wal-mart for $1.00 a piece and loaded up on them. On this order I also included 6-2" chocoalte chip cookies, I had originally planned on putting them in the tin also, but didn't want them to dry out so I will have to figure out something else for next time.

More of my sugar cookies with royal icing. These were bite size and very addicting! The candy hearts on the plate are the regular small ones for size comparison.

My sugar cookie recipe then decorated with Royal Icing. This was my first time doing designs like this and I had a lot of fun. The one in the middle turned out to be my favorite and after i finished I wish I would have done more like that. Maybe next year!

These were some more just for fun cookies. I love the way they turned out. I really enjoy decorating cookies, but sometimes I loose my patience doing them b/c they take so long.

The Sunflowers/Snowflakes/and daises were all made with the same cookie cutter. I was testing out different variations. Then of course I had turtles, they were just so cute!

Sure would love to see cookies organized and categorized like the cakes are! Would be so much easier to navigate through to find exactly what you are looking for! So many beautiful cookies with such talent - just as wonderful as the cakes. Think they deserve their very own spotlight as well!! :)
