I always wanted to try this lace effect on a cookie. Will have to try again with an even smaller tip. This was with a #1, next time I will try the #0 or even the #00.

I always loved LoveiscakeUK's Winter Christmas cupcakes, so I was just playing around with some cookie dough and decided to replicate them in cookie form. They are as close a copy as I could make freehanded, and not only did they look pretty on the table, but I got a good laugh at my husband and daughter's blue tongues!

I've been wanting to make the melted snowman cookies and then I remembered my daughter had this mini-menorah cookie cutter and I came up with this idea.

I saw this "woven" style menorah and wanted to see if I could make a cookie that looked like it. This is fairly close. I tried fondant twice, but it was too complicated! I'm fairly happy with how this turned out though. It's definitely different.

This is a cookie I designed for a boy's Bar Mitzvah favor. He has a reputation in the community for breaking windows when he plays baseball. The mother loved the cookie, but has decided not to buy these due to budget restraints. This sample was done using some ready made royal so I could show her the idea. I plan to make one with some Homemade royal so I can post it on my site as a sample of my design ability.

This is a prototype cookie. I really like how most of it came out, but I need to do a different menorah style, this one was too hard to get even on both sides. But I still like the general idea.

This is the cookie I designed for Chanukah this past year. It is based on the style of Menorah/Hanukkiah that is popular at our Shul and with some other Orthodox Jewish groups.

This is a cookie I was offering for Passover, since it has no flour. The picture wasn't great. but these are elegant little bite sized cookies, perfect after a large meal, like a seder.

I did these for the "March Madness" cookie theme. For many Jewish women Passover preparations are what drives us to the brink of madness in March. These are a bag of groceries (Passover foods are expensive!) and a Bedikas Chometz set. The night before Passover starts we hunt by candlelight for any chometz (leavened items) and use a feather to sweep it onto the spoon so we don't drop it. We burn it the next morning.

This is about half of the 3D butterfly cookies I made as favors for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah party this weekend. The are the same shape and wing pattern as the butterflies on the quilt we will be making at the party. Thank you to Bobwonderbuns (and others) for the suggestions for how to do this. I used NFSC dough and Antonia 74's icing.

Sure would love to see cookies organized and categorized like the cakes are! Would be so much easier to navigate through to find exactly what you are looking for! So many beautiful cookies with such talent - just as wonderful as the cakes. Think they deserve their very own spotlight as well!! :)

What is the frosting or icing that you use for your cookies. Which are by the way beautiful.
