Made with fondant and CMC (Tylose) gum powder added. A cute little Scottish hairy cow...maybe not popular all over the world but I dare you not to smile!

Created by hand using sugarpaste/fondant with CMC/Tylose powder added. Babies always have the "aw" factor...this one made me smile

Made with sugarpaste mixed with CMC which is the same as fondant and tylose. Free hand painted tee shirt logo taken from an actual tee shirt. No room for error doing this...just hold your breath and hope for the best!

Another figure model with Sugarpaste and CMC added. The addition of the tortoise..or turtle..is just to make things a little more quirky, none of the usual cats and dogs for pets, right? I enjoyed creating this one.

Had fun with this one...pity this hunky man is in sugar form! Don't know that he exists in real life, maybe if you replace the sandwich with a beer bottle it would be nearer the truth. Lol! As usual, all modelling done by hand using sugarpaste...

This is for a real bride but I'll surely be using her dress again in a workshop at some point. Thinking I might adapt this for my cowboy bride and groom for Austin in February. Yeah...sweet!

Cake topper for a Christening...a real cake this time and not a class subject. Although I might just use him for that very thing at a later date. You never know.

I used to spend all year making couples like these for wedding cakes....always with a Groom in a kilt! Well...in Scotland, what do I expect. However, these two were created in my workshop last weekend. The first and last kilt for 2010. It's...

I now have 3 of these ladies as I teach the class and am left with my own creation to decide what to do with. I decided to add a little dog to this one and I just might include the dog the next time I teach this figure. You won't see her again this...

My head is full of elephants at the moment so decided to create this little man and hopefully will come up with some more of his family for another project. The word "Love" is cut freehand from Flower Paste (Gumpaste) and left to dry before dusting...

Almost everything I've done lately is PINK! This will be another little subject for a workshop at some point. A good beginners class this one. All the detail is really in the face and tiny hands. I love cute, don't you?

This is my final wedding cake for 2009 and also is the end of a chapter in my book of life! (how deep is that!) Next year I will be concentrating on teaching and creating new projects of my own choice and design to offer in classes and in tutorials...
