12" round chocolate cake with mint buttercream icing. I used chocolate candy molds and made green shamrocks for the sides. Not too bad for one of my first level cakes. If I could only figure out how they get that perfect smoothness with buttercream....

Pot of Gold is 4 layers stacked then hand carved to shape as pot. Iced in Buttercream. Gold coins are chocolate candy coins. St Patricks day picks and vine finish it off.

My first 3D cake. It didn't turn out as well as I wanted, but it's okay. I couldn't get spray paint to do anything to the fondant so instead I took my black gel coloring and painted it with a brush, made for some black teeth, but the kids loved it....

I made this cake for my sister in laws work. They were having a St. Patrick's day party and a going away party for a man named Patrick. I used heart pans for this, two wasc and two chocolate wasc. covered in buttercream with fondant letters.
