I was requested to make a cake for a beautiful quincea?era. Her dress was orange with gold ...... (geezzz I can??t find the word.) Gold shimmer and gold accents, The Quincea?era?s mother was nice enough to give me freedom to design the cake. She just asked me to be the same color of her daughter?s dress and to have sea theme.

Two tiers are dummy and the other two are real cake, The fondant was colored in burgundi. The decorations were made with royal icing, painted with luster dust and sprinkle with a little bit of disco dust. They were inspired from the embroidering of the dress.
Thank you for looking

This cake was covered with cocolate buttercream and colored cocconut. The top of the cake has edible prints that resemble persian rugs. The books and the chair were made wiht ricecrispy treats covered with fondant. The Mad Hatter, the rabit and the flowers were made with gumpaste. Two of the roses have children faces that I made with a mold. The tablecothes are fondant and royal icing. The hair of the Mad Hatter is corn silk.
