French vanilla with raspberry filling and buttercream frosted 8" round. One of three Avenger theme cakes for 2 little boys. Fondant flames, gum paste hand-cut letters and fondant iron man mask dusted with ultra gold luster dust and lemon extract.

First birthday cake for little girl. I did the baby gender reveal cake, baby shower and now this one for her! Design based on invitations. Chocolate cake with a caramel, pecan and ganache filling. Chocolate BC underneath the pink BC.

I did the baby shower cake for this sweet little girl and yesterday I got to do her first birthday cake. I hope I get to do many more! This is a 10" and 5" buttercream chocolate cake with a whipped chocolate ganache filling. I was told to do something with butterflies, flowers and to use orange and purple. All the decor is fondant and edible except the two butterfly toppers. They were so shiny and sparkly I couldn't resist them. I used one of the newer Wilton molds for the greenery and the orange border around the top tier.

A fairy cake I made for a friend of mine's daughter's 4th birthday. French vanilla with chocolate buttercream frosting. My first fairy! I made the wings out of gelatin and edged them in gold and sprinkled lots of disco dust to make them sparkle. The side trunks on the tree are made of cake that I compressed (like a cake ball) and molded to shape like tree trunks. (Much tastier than Rice Crispy treats!) I coated everything with chocolate buttercream to make it look like bark and tried to channel my inner Hobbit with decor. Lots of inspiration on CC and elsewhere. The little girl loved it and I loved making it.

CSM: First time doing a Barbie Princess cake and it was so much fun. French vanilla cake with lemon filling. I used a 7" round pan, plus a stainless steel bowl and topped that with a round sports ball top. This doll was TALL! I embossed the buttercream with a floral stamp and placed a purple fondant skirt over that. Fondant hot pink bow. The little girl wanted shiny and sparkly so I added bling to her name and the bow and the base of the cake (non-edible). Then I dusted liberally with disco dust. Her eyes were huge when she I delivered it. so it made it all worthwhile. Any and all comments and critiques would be appreciated! Thanks for looking.

Where is the search feature for the galleries now? Before we could put the theme and then all the relevant cakes appear.

I used the search on the top right of the page. Then the page give you some options like All/Product/Gallery Image. Select the one that you want and that's it!! =)

That search option doesn't appear to allow you to search within a search like before. I'm trying to search in Children's Birthday cakes, but only for girls. Yesterday I tried searching for a girl's b-day cake several ways, and one of the searches brought up several adult/naughty theme cake. I think I just searched girl birthday cake. That search also brought up wedding cakes, and some random halloween cakes. Before you could do a general search, then there was an option to search within the results to narrow it down more. Does anyone know if that feature still exists?

Bring back the old cake Central!! The gallery search is totally gone, that was one of the greatest features.
