My daughter wanted for her birthday a torquoise cake with zebra stripe. The cake was strawberry and vanilla. I got my inspiration from soonergirl1968's cake. I made sugar jewels for the first time and the purple color was purely an accident. I was trying to get rid of the yellow tint from the sugar by adding purple and added too much but it looked ok and she was so happy!!!

I made this for a friend's daughter who was definitely emphasizing that she was 5. It is cream cheese icing and I had a time with it and the airbrushing just showed up all of my mistakes :(

This is a first time making this kind of cake. The buildings are gumpaste and spiderman and venom's mask is fondant. I see alot of mistakes but I had a blast making it.

Made this cake for a friends son whom always walks around his house saying this saying Bean of course is the nick name. the bowling ball,pins and circles are gumpaste. Elmo is fbct.

The eagle's body is fondant and his head and talons are gumpaste along with the ribbon. Everything else is buttercream I didn't do such a good job in getting his feathers closer together so that you wouldn't see the background but of course the customer loved it That's all that matters, right?!?!?!

Buttercream iced with gumpaste looped bow and plaque. The letters were painted with purple paste color. I also added some white pearl dust, not sure if you can tell. Thanks for looking

This cake is CC inspired. From the frozen buttercream transfer technique for the image and the crusting buttercream icing and the borders from the border lady.( Not sure of her name). The butterflies are fondant with shimmer dust. Thanks CC for all the inspiration

I got my inspiration from fellow CCers. This was for a DF's daughter. She liked it so much that she cried. It is made with fondant dress and daisies. Overall I was pleased with how she turned out even though she didn't quite make the Belle dress cut.

Where is the search feature for the galleries now? Before we could put the theme and then all the relevant cakes appear.

I used the search on the top right of the page. Then the page give you some options like All/Product/Gallery Image. Select the one that you want and that's it!! =)

That search option doesn't appear to allow you to search within a search like before. I'm trying to search in Children's Birthday cakes, but only for girls. Yesterday I tried searching for a girl's b-day cake several ways, and one of the searches brought up several adult/naughty theme cake. I think I just searched girl birthday cake. That search also brought up wedding cakes, and some random halloween cakes. Before you could do a general search, then there was an option to search within the results to narrow it down more. Does anyone know if that feature still exists?

Bring back the old cake Central!! The gallery search is totally gone, that was one of the greatest features.
