This was my first time using modeling chocolate to cover the cake. Each of the individual stripes were made from modeling chocolate. I made the strips too thick and they began to bulge as the cake sat through the party. Regardless, I think this was a fun cake to make with the matching owl smash cake.

This was a chocolate cake with vanilla IMBC. The cake was modeled after a decorative clock in the child's room. The rocket ship was his matching smash cake.

White Velvet Cake with strawberries and vanilla IMBC filling. Topper is a licensed Superman topper. Client purchased a Spiderman candle and a Batman emblem to place on the cake.

This was the first time I have used Satin Ice and had a problem. The blue never would smooth, even after kneading and kneading and redoing the tier several times. The pock marks would not go away.

This was for a little girl that loves pink, bling, strawberries, and reading! It was a strawberry shaped cake, with strawberry buttercream filling. The book was carved from strawberry cake as well.

This was a cake for my niece. She was having a movie themed party and wanted something with lots of stars. It is half yellow and half chocolate cake with a cream cheese buttercream filling and iced with a SMBC. Thanks for looking!

This was my first time making and using swiss meringue buttercream. WOW! Love the stuff! The cake is alternating layers of yellow and oreo dark chocolate, filled with raspberry buttercream and dark chocolate ganache, iced with SMBC, and covered in fondant. The tiger is made from RKT and fondant. She was born in the year of the tiger.

My son is a Backyardigans fan and he loves the Tale of the Mighty Knights Episode. The castle cake is 2 stacked dark chocolate cakes with butter cakes as the castle tower rounds. It was filled with cream cheese icing. The characters are made from a fondant and gumpaste mixture to speed drying. I had structural integrity issues with the round towers and spent the entire night before the party rebaking the butter cakes. Many fine details are missing from the castle because of lost time due to rebaking.

I used the search on the top right of the page. Then the page give you some options like All/Product/Gallery Image. Select the one that you want and that's it!! =)

That search option doesn't appear to allow you to search within a search like before. I'm trying to search in Children's Birthday cakes, but only for girls. Yesterday I tried searching for a girl's b-day cake several ways, and one of the searches brought up several adult/naughty theme cake. I think I just searched girl birthday cake. That search also brought up wedding cakes, and some random halloween cakes. Before you could do a general search, then there was an option to search within the results to narrow it down more. Does anyone know if that feature still exists?
