This cake was baked and decorated all in one day!  That's a feat because I had another cake to do yesterday as well.  The edible images were tough to do because they weren't sent to me in the right format!!!!!  Converting them is what took the most time.

Sailor hats are gumpaste and edible.  Anchors are gumpaste, cutter from Jem.  Coast Guard emblems are gumpaste, used clear plastic candy mold.  Rope is from clover leaf design of dough press.  Cake covered in fondant.

This is a close up of the Capitol building from the previous photo I posted. The bottom cake is 22"x 15", the Capitol was carved from sheet cakes, frosted in bc then covered in fondant. The details were piped on with bc.
