I made this for my son's cubscout "blue and gold banquet" last weekend. I also made 125 or so servings of sheet cakes to go with it. The theme of the banquet was "travel." The cub master dressed up like a pilot etc. It was cute.

I had wanted to make a pirate ship for a long time. I decided to make this for the cubscout "cake bake auction," a fundraiser. I had loads of trouble with it and spent the better part of 3 days baking and re-baking, remaking the sails etc...
