This is a cake I made for a Mardi Gras party at my church. Decorations are all fondant and BC. Masks are made from gumpaste and then covered in fondant.

First attempt at a whimsy cake.  Did a mardi gras theme for church festival.  Masks are fondant dried over styrofoam heads.  Everything is edible except for the beads and feathers.

This is my practice cake on a dummy.  I need to also spray the color on the sides of the cake.  I think I want to go with purple & yellow instead of green & yellow.  Also, I will have to align my dimonds better.  Good thing I like to do a trial run.

This cake is 1/2 choc 1/2 yellow with BC. The decorations are MMF, the masks are MMF and gumpaste. The coins are choc brushed with luster dust.
