Made this cake for a coworker who has this car. Cake has a brownie base, then a milk chocolate chassis and doors, and then chocolate fudge cake for the body. Covered headlights with clear isoomalt and then scored them to make them look like real headlights.

I made this cake to take to work. Where I work we have these AGVs that run on their own. They follow a magnetic strip in the floor and take parts to/from different areas. Sometimes they get a mind of their own and don't want to behave. One of my coworkers has spent a lot of his time in the past few months making improvements to them. This cake was for him to be able to tear into one without any consequences. It took 5 boxes of cake mix to make this. The back is chocolate covered pretzel rods as is the steering wheel and column. The rest of the cake is covered in fondant. You can see a video of an AGV in action by copying and pasting this to your address bar: http://ici-ky.com/videos/agv7.wmv

This cake depicts my view of what would happen if forklifts were used in the X-Games. The forklifts are made of fondant and the ramps are chocolate slabs with chocolate covered pretzel supports.
