This was a surprise Grooms cake. The groom is a DJ, I placed the clear cd from a stack of blank dvd's so the bride could put one of the grooms own mix cd's on the chocolate record without harming the cd. I took inspiration from the great Turntables on here! Thanks!!

Chocolate buttercream woodgrained (somewhat), choc WASC cake, gumpaste accents and use rice krispies/gumpaste for the record base.

I used the Wilton Guitar pan, and the durable chocolate mix found here on CC. I kept messing up the icing after smoothing it, so it looks a bit 'messy', but still loved it and my Brother in Law enjoyed it at his birthday party. Buttercream icing tinted brown, used spagetti painted silver as strings (they werent long enough so i had to add pieces at the top of each, lol)
