Chocolate cake with oreo filling & buttercream frosting. All toppers are toys - picked out by the birthday boy who had a set scene arranged. He wanted to gaurantee he got some action figures for his birthday, so he picked out this set and told his mom he wanted it on top of his cake. Smart kid :0)

Chocolate Fudge cake with banana creme filling and banana creme BC. George and balloons are CT. The CTs broke as I was flipping them onto the cake so I went back over parts with more chocolate - so not the prettiest CT, but the cake still turned out very cute and just like the napkins and plates.

Yellow cake with white chocolate raspberry enhancements, chocolate raspberry BC filling, BC Dream icing with CTs and chocolate writing & dots. I wanted to try out the BC Dream recipe and attempt another CT. Curious George and trains were at the top of the birthday boy's list so I encorporated them both. I didn't want to do a landscape on the side, so I did the primary color dots in chocolate.

Chocolate Fudge Cake with Oreo Filling (yummy!), BC and CT. This is the first time I tried a CT - turned out pretty good. Would have worked better had my oldest son not misplaced the heating pad, kids - lol!! The flames are on all sides of the cake as well, also CT. Birthday boy LOVED it! He originally wanted Optimus Prime then he made it "easier" for me with this icon.

Well, this was a learning experience. My BC would not crust so the Melvira method just wasn't happening. My top tier slid off the cake board as I was putting it on the cake (tin foil problem), so in this pic there is NO board. The fondant checkerboard I originally made (painted) were too small so I redid them as I was putting the cake together at 3 AM. The sign broke and I had to redo it too. Then my boys were so excited they couldn't keep their fingers off it - can you tell? LOL. I do like it though.

This is my third cake. My husband came home three nights ago and announced I needed to make a Dora cake for a 2 yr old little girl (he works w/ her daddy) that was hit by her mom's car on Mother's Day. It is a FBCT that took forever (18 different colors, one tip and limited bags...). She liked it as much as a 2 yr old can say - her hand almost went directly into the top of the cake so she could touch Dora. Good thing I have fast reflexes, lol.

This was for my nephew and a last minute request after my SIL saw my first cake I made for my DH's b-day. Baby Einsteins. This was my second cake I've made. It turned out better than I thought it would. My SIL only let Jack put his fingers into it and then she saved it - she said she kept going to the refrigerator to look at it. It was chocolate w/ BC. Inspiration from JoAnn

I was so excited to do my first request. All I was told is she was going to buy a cupcake cake in the shape of a 1. Jack likes dogs, balls and Baby Einsein. This was my first carved cake, My first FBCT, My first time making homemade filling. Cake was vanilla with raspberry filling and BC. The sides of the cake had musical notes on it. The cupcakes were chocolate with BC. The antennas were marshmallow and M&Ms.
