Wine bottle in crate cake for 100 people. 3 layer chocolate cake with cannoli cream filling. fondant panels, grapes, leaves and covering on RKT bottle. Uncooked pasta for straw. Followed tutorial on Sugarsweetcakesandtreats blog, and had formed the fondant over a wine bottle for 4 days before, but it all cracked when I went to assemble this last night, so I quick made rice krispie treats. i put a sheet a wax paper over the iced cake before putting the dry pasta and stuff on top. TFL!

vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, MMF brushed with cocoa powder & a little vodka. Foamboard for back panel, modelling chocolate cigars. Picture off Bing images.

for my ex's 50th birthday. Chocolate cake with can of Guinness in place of water in recipe. brown & black fondant mixed, white basic frosting for top of pint's froth. fondant Guinness letters & harp. the rest piped gel. cherry filling. it was a big hit!
