I get to create a lot of custom cupcakes for weddings, and these were some of my favorites from a recent wedding. I wrapped each cupcake in hand cut lace, then created an "i do" flag to place on top. Photo by Millimeter Monkey.

I was asked to create some cupcakes for a Vintage inspired shoot. I created these to go with the Blush and gold cake that has the antique buttons on them. These were placed at each table setting. I made the blush wrappers and then attached different laces and such to them. Then I made chocolate antique buttons and placed those on top. Photo by Kevin Paul Photography

The bride asked me to create these for her bridal shower luncheon. Her only requirements, that they needed to be very feminine and for me to use ivory and pink. There were four different flavors and fillings for all of them, so I gave each flavor a distinct look. I hand made all of the toppers out of fondant.

I've been creating a lot of cupcakes lately for wedding receptions. This was for a small wedding reception that had cupcakes at each place setting. My bride wanted something that would make a statement at each setting. I custom made the wrappers to match the invitations. Then I dusted my flowers in a shade to match the corals and oranges that were used in the flower arrangements. I iced the tops in buttercream and then sprayed them with the wilton gold spray. The finishing touch was the peach ribbon with the buckle that tied in a bow, in the back. Photo by Kevin Paul Photography.

I love creating these cupcakes for weddings. They bring me a lot of joy. The purple hearts were made from chocolate, that rested on top of the lavender buttercream. I matched the wrappers to the colors of the reception, and then finished them with a lavender bow. Photo by Kevin Paul Photography

I made this cupcake to go with my gold and pearl table cake. I hand made the wrapper....matching it to the color scheme of the cake. I then hand piped little tiny swirls on top of the cupcake. I added edible chocolate pearls, gold dragees, and gold hologram dust to the top. I attached a gold bow with a pearl on the front of the wrapper, to finish the look. They used this cupcake with a bride holding it in her hands, as the opening image to the Couture Cake section. I love making beautiful cupcakes. My awesome hubby took all of these pictures for me. I've started doing sweets tables for different weddings, as they have become so popular. I loved creating this one with a winter theme. There were 4 different cupcake flavors and fillings. I then hand made the chocolates to go on top of the cupcakes. They were all sprinkled with glitter and some had edible pearls. I also made the chocolate suckers in the containers. I got to style this table as well. photo by www.kevinpaulphotography.com

I love Fall. This was for an outdoor wedding that I created 125 cupcakes for, and then the bride and groom cuppy I previously posted. I did four different icing colors, and four different flavors and fillings. Red velvet with cream cheese, chocolate with cookies and cream, french vanilla with whipped strawberry, and fudge marble with chocolate ganache. All topped with buttercream that I dyed to match the event. Then I made leaves from chocolate that I tinted and brushed with gold. A small top tier with fondant leave brushed with gold and studded with gold dragees rests on top of the custom stand the groom made.

I adored making these for the bride and groom. The bride contacted me and asked me if I would create two cupcakes that looked like a photo she had found on the internet. So, I created these out of two jumbo cupcakes. It took me quite a while to make these two, but they were so much fun....I couldn't quit laughing when I looked at them! I will post closeups of the bride and groom as well.

The bride's Father made this custom stand just for the bride and groom. I created 300 cupcakes with filling, and they all hand hand piped flowers on top in pastel shades.

My bride last weekend got married a venue in town called Harn Homestead. It's an amazing place for a wedding. That have an old barn out back and that is where the reception was held. I fell in love when I walked in and saw how it was staged. The bride had me create a three tier ivory rosette cake, and then she wanted lace wrapped cupcakes for the rest of the servings. I did three different flavors and fillings (red velvet with cream cheese, lemon cream with whipped lemon curd, and french vanilla with whipped strawberry filling) and then I hand made all of the wrappers out of three different styles of lace. I piped a red heart on the red velvet cakes. I made "I do" flags and scattered pearls on the second cupcake, and then I hand cut hearts and put them on picks in red and blue (her colors) for the third design. I loved the look of lace wrapped around them. Such a pretty presentation. My awesome hubby didn't have a wedding that day (he's a photographer) so he shot them for me.

Paula wanted her cupcakes to have "bling". I hand made the wrappers and then added a satin ribbon on the front of the cupcake with a rhinestone button. The tops of the cupcakes were sprinkled with glitter dust and silver dragees.
