Just a white cake covered in yellow marshmallow fondant.  The flowers were my first try at gumpaste and they were a disaster. I tried to make them in egg crates - but they didn't stick together.  You can't tell - but they were just 'on' there - not...

These cakes were made for a small gathering of women in my town known as The Pearl Ladies.  They are a group of five that were born and raised in my neck of the woods and are highly praised for their history knowledge, charity events, high teas, etc....

This is a cake for a fall themed dinner at the Ronald McDonald house in Philadelphia. Message and corn rows are buttercream. Pumpkins are candies. Corn, crows, sunflowers and figures are all fondant.

This was my very first cake after cake deco class 1. The frangipanis are made out of modelling (sugar) paste. It was made for a friend's 23rd birthday.

This is supposed to be an ivory cake, but it looks yellow next to the white accents.  The flowers are royal icing and the fence is color flow.  My first wedding cake!!!

chocolate cake withh raspberry filling and buttercream inside.
used the towel smoothing advice I got from here,made the MMF from here and struggled with 2 bows before I was happy with it. Note...bows not completely dry so I propped 'em up...

This was a lemon poppy seed cake with lemon buttercream frosting.  The flowers are fondant that were later dusted with luster dust but you really can't tell in the picture.

OK,bottom cake is two 1/2 sheetcakes, one chocolate, one yellow..next one up is white, then yellow on the last two cakes...It turned out pretty nice for only having fall leaves on it... my basket weave didn't show up as well when I resized my photo...

two girls in my department are leaving. I thought this cake would be a breeze to frost, not really so. small areas to work and I think I made my white so straight you can't tell it's topsy turvy!!!

This is a cake I made to try and practice the cornelli lace.  The lace part isn't quite right.  I went from end to end and I don't think that's how it should have been done, but I think it turned out pretty.  Any suggestions on what I need to do next...

Gingerbread iced and decorated with cream cheeze icing.  This is a delicious combineation. I've never iced a gingerbread before and thought I'll just try it. It taste yummy.
