This was one of my entries in the 2013 Sweet Times in the Rockies Cake Show. As you can tell, my inspiration was the tea towel. All the decor is 100% edible. I used a color wash to get the green background and overlayed fondant to get my calico prints. Everything was outlined in brown food color/vodka to look like stitching. I won 1st place in Advanced Division, Tiered Cakes Category. Picture by Erin Schaefgen Photography.

One of my favorite color combos. All buttercream. Just a practice cake for the volunteers at a local food pantry. And I do need the practice :)

Green and pink - modified brush emroidery - fantasy flower - I loved the colors on this cake and was very happy with it, except that the leaves did not come out as intended.
