Thanks to all for their suggestions.  The MMF was so much better than the Wilton.  Still have some work to do on the bow though.

I made this cake for work, just for fun. It's the Whipped Cream BC, one layer chocolate fudge cake and one layer vanilla. The inside is filled with crushed Oreos mixed into the BC. I made it tooooo tall, so it got a little bit smooshed in my Wilton...

This cake was iced in blue tinted buttercream with fondant stars and music notes added. Silver dragees were added to the letters for a finishing touch.

I made this cake as a surprise for a gentleman who was getting married.  As you may have guessed, he is a horse trainer.  He went crazy when he saw it.  It was my first real sculpted cake.

Just a birthday cake for my aunt's supervisor.  I didn't want it it look like every other birthday cake the comes thru the door so I came up with this.  He loved it.

This was for my mom's birthday, I had made three other cakes that weekend, so she got a simple one for hers.  Icing and decorations made from Cool Whip...quick and easy to do :)

Did this for a friend's grandfather who owned a Chevy Dealership for many years.  Buttercream with chocolate transfer car.  Did the chocolate transfer 3 times and still didn't get it exactly how I wanted but after 3 times it was "good nuff!"

Had an extra 6 inch from last (and first) order so I decided to experiment.  This is my first "drape" along with swirly thingys (the technical term ya know)  I think my royal icing was too thick.

I wanted to make a cake for my bf's parents since they have been letting me use their oven since mine hasn't been working and this way I got to practice my cornelli lace. I am not happy with the way it turned out... but it's better than the last...

It kind of turned out how I pictured it but a little messier, of course. I think my icing was way to thin. I was inspired by the ribbon. Strawberry cake with chocolate and regular buttercream icing. The customer was happy so I guess that is all that...
