I made this for my sisters friend anne. Her mother always says "Now Annie" so it's a big joke. She also wanted me to put other inside jokes all over the cakes. I had a big beautiful brown bow to go on top, but I was steaming it right before I put it on the cake to get rid of the cornstarch and accidentily spilled water on it! so I had to remake the bow and this is what I came up with. This was inspired by a beautiful baby shower cake by bakerfairy. Thanks!

I made this cake for my daughter's friend. It was based on a cake done by Cake Lava, they have amazing cakes on their site! This is also my first figurine since taking a class taught by snowshoe1. Thanks to Margery for her wonderful beach themed cake too. The sun was really cool on her cake!

This is an anniversary cake, the couple filled the church with pink and white roses on their wedding day so that's what they wanted their cake to look like. I need to get a better camera, all my pictures are always so fuzzy and the flash washes out the colors, this was actually a dark brown with vibrant pink roses.

A little 6 inch cake for my MIL. I forgot to paint the flowers with lustre and I was so peeved! I also wish I had a better picture of the sides. I used the clay extruder to make rope and each stem was twsted and turned in different directions.

a simple pink and brown cake, first time I tried to make coffee buttercream, it was good!!!
