This cake was my first cake for a wedding. The bride and groom were having cupcakes but the groom wanted to have a "top tier" to save for their first anniversary. I'm not sure if they were actually planning to cut the tier at all or not. 6-inch yellow cake with buttercream frosting. I couldn't get the lighting right with my camera so the colors are a bit off (the lavender on the cake wasn't as blue as it appears in the pics)
