This idea was taken from rjtaconner, so props there for a cute idea. This was for a woman's 40th birthday...don't know if that is over the hill, but she was getting payback. It is a chocolate cake with the chocolate glaze in the whimsical bakehouse book....yum. The crumbles are chocolate stuffed oreos. The feet are fondant using an icing marker to paint the toes. Flowers are chocolate. Tombstone was cardboard covered in fondant using a scroll impression and letter impressions.

This is a half sheet cake that is german chocolate with the traditional coconut pecan icing as the filling. It is iced with chocolate buttercream using german chocolate. Maxine is a chocolate transfer. Roses are made from tootsie rolls. I used the remaining coconut pecan filling as accents on the cake. The person wanted an over the hill cake and liked the maxine character. Thanks to all those here who have done Maxine cakes which I drew ideas from.
