This is a science theme birthday cake I amde for my sons friends birthday. everything on the cake including the microscope and bunsen burner is made from gumpaste. The flask on top had a plastic tube inserted into it which we later filled with dry ice and water to create a fog. I orginially tinted the fondant with electric purple and got an swful color I was not happy with because of consistency. So I later airbrushed the cake with purple but it was a challenge because I had already placed the lime green.. Another lesson learned HAHA
