I designed this cake for my son's 4th birthday. His birthday is close to Halloween, and he really loves the theme, so we have a big Halloween birthday party every year. The cake is pumpkin chocolate chip filled with pumpkin buttercream, and frosted with vanilla buttercream 'straw' (hand-piped). I made the pumpkins and kitten from rkt and modeling chocolate. I also made the leaves from modeling chocolate and added a cookie 'dirt' floor.
