This cake was suppose to be a small, individual cake for my best friends little boys 6th birthday, but it morphed into a huge project. This was my first attempt at sculpting and working with MMF. I was having so much fun that I kept adding more and more things. Pretty soon it turned into a huge cake! The fish is made from pound cake covered in fondant. The fish tail, sign, small rocks, leaves and cattails are gumpaste. Everything else is MFF. I used Wilton gel food coloring to paint everything.
