My very first fondant cake. There are lots if things I would do differently next time but I am glad I finally took the plunge and gave it a try.

This is a red velvet cake filled with vanilla bean Italian meringue buttercream, covered with fondant. I made all of the beach themed edible decorations (umbrellas, adirondack chairs, cups with straws, sea shells, starfish, flip flops, beach towel, book, hat, shades, and a ring).
