I MADE THIS FOR CHIEF OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WHO WAS RETIRING.  HIS COWORKERS WANTED TO INCORPORATE THE FIRE TRUCK, FIRE STATION AND EMBLEM OF THE LADDER TRUCK HE WORKED FOR.

I used a french vanilla mix added fresh mango and mango flavoring.  Filling is IMBC with fresh chopped mango.  I made it for my daughter in law's  co worker for a retirement party.

this is a golf cart cake on a slab cake.  The golf cart is buttercream with fondant extras.  I used the grass tip to cover the slab cake.

Both tiers were almond cake with buttercream icing drizzled with melted chocolate candy melts and covered in chocolate covered strawberries.  It was a big hit at the retirement party.

This was for my boss who retired.  Our "mascot" here is a bulldog, hence the "paw prints" and the bone.  This was WASC cake with buttercream. Bone was made with gumpaste.

Cake made for Air Force LT promotion. White cake w/ganache filling (requested). My first time doing the swags... next time I'll listen when people say to add corn syrup to the icing first. They will hang for a while w/o it, but once the icing dries...

For my Uncle's co-worker's retirement.  She loved to paint so I did the painter's palette, beret and paint brush out of fondant and the cake is golden butter and buttermilk chocolate layers with raspberry and lemon filling and buttercream icing.

This was made for a friend of a friend who is retireing.  The cabin is made out of graham crackers and the trees are made of sugar cones.  All covered in BC.

This was for a lady's retirement from a bank. Royal icing for the cherries. I was really proud of how smooth the top turned out. I've never been able to get one thatsmooth again! lol

Bottom layer is 1/2 chocolate torted with chocolate buttercream and 1/2 white torted with lemon filling all topped with buttercream frosting.  The top layer is white with buttercream frosting.  The flowers are royal icing and the leaves are fondant.
