There really isn't any catagory this fits in so I thought someone retiring might be planning to do some serious birdwatching :)  After seeing someone on here make one of these I *JUST HAD* to make one.  
This is a dummy that I entered into my county...

The man this 12x18x2 sheet was for planned to do a lot of fishing following his retirement.  Both pictures are frosting sheets on  buttercream icing

This 12x18x2 sheet is iced in buttercream with frosting sheet pictures.  The calculator tape is fondant as are the roses.  Borders are zigzags from a large leaf tip.

This 10x4" sq is topped w/a 6x3" round for a lady's retirement.  Border work, done w/tips 18 & 2 were inspired by work by Mary Ford (of the UK); all icing is buttercream.  Decorations are frosting sheet pix from the museum where she worked....

Sheet with frosting sheet pix on gumpaste plaques; fondant molded pig.  He was going to travel and play w/grandkids so that's what the pix show:)  Size of cake is 24x16x2; it is iced in buttercream
