Surrounding our toilet cake was an assortment of interesting book covers that I found on Amazon.com. I made edible transfers out of them which I put on fondant rectangles and surrounded the base of our industrial toilet cake.

In honor of our friend's retirement as a custodian in a local high school district, this is a cake that I made with an edible photo of him and his coworkers on a very chocolate cake.
