I loved making this cake. I was given a picture of Celebration Generation's Wedding Cake to copy and had my husband (huge Mario fan) help me create the characters (there are a few non-edible characters on this cake that the bride added - mario, princess peach, luigi, etc). The Pirana Plant is a 3" styrofoam ball covered in fondant and the stem is a 3/8" wooden dowel covered in fondant. I used Jessicakes' wax paper transfer to apply the question marks to the top tier. This was a 10", 6", 8", and 4" cake. Carrot Cake and Chocolate Fudge Cakes. I used Cream Cheese Caramel SMBC on the bottom tier but ganached the others - really enjoyed that technique. TFL

Princess Peach, Mario, Luigi, and a few others are plastic, but everything else is fondant.
