Hi mo63. Yes I used 3 dowel in both the bottom and second tier. I also pushed a long dowel through the whole cake! Very nerve wracking :)

Amazing, made a wonky cake few years back but didnt quite get the hang of it.....this is lovely. Can I ask how this is stacked. Is it with dowels?
