My worst cake nightmare.I am still learning and newbie. This was the first time i did a madhatter cake. Which was freaking scary. I did my first carving too.. Could not cover the cake in fondant without wrinkles. then i could not stack them. Once i put the second tier on top the hat cake just cracked. Had to just leave it like that.. I guess the problem was i tapered a 10" cake to a 6" and tried to stack an 8" on top. Well atleast i learnt a few things.
