Strawberry Festival

I was very honored to be asked to do the cake for our annual Strawberry Festival, especially since I have only been doing cakes for about a year :) The top two tiers are cake dummies. The bottom tier is Red Velvet Cake filled with strawberry mousse...

I was very honored to be asked to do the cake for our annual Strawberry Festival, especially since I have only been doing cakes for about a year :)
The top two tiers are cake dummies. The bottom tier is Red Velvet Cake filled with strawberry mousse and fresh local strawberries, iced in buttercream. This was a lot of fun to make. I'm so excited that it will be featured in our local newspaper.
