this is a red three tier cake. bottom and top tier is diamond pattern. these have silver pearls on each coner. all done with buttercream. i use the 3-d shoe mold for the shoe. the shoe is peppermint flavor.

Italiian cream cake with white choc cream cheese icing. Fondant gifts with sugar cones covered in buttercream. Sugar crystals for the snow. This was fun and loved doing it.

Christmas gift to my friend/co-worker.  8" round, DH yellow cake.  Semi-sweet chocolate ganache (hence all the chocolate smudge marks!).  Covered in MMF.  Accents are MMF and royal icing.

This cake was for a work party.  It is the "cake version" of a Verizon Wireless commercial.  The 3 Rudolph figures are store bought.  Everything else is fondant.

This is a dreidel cake made for a holiday party, and it spun on bearings with a slight turn. A wedge of styrofoam was used for the bottom inverted pyramid shape, but the rest was all cake!

The bottom layer is yellow cake the oval is chocolate. Iced and decorated with buttercream. The tree is an ice cream cone and the snowman is carved and covered marshmallows. The only inedible part is a toothpick to hold up the snowman.

The cakes are iced using buttercream icing.  The ornaments are made out of fondant and sugar.  The star on the tree is made of sugar.  The tree garland is fondant.  The piggy bank, truck and train are also made from fondant.  I poured orange sugar...

Done in two days for a customer for 12/20.  It's three 10" yellow cake with pineapple filling. Hard to get fondant with gumpaste to dry in 2 days. The customer was delighted with the cake.

I am looking for tutorial on a cake called christmas eve 2009. It won 1st place in the contest. It looks like a Thomas Kincade cottage with lights in it. Can anyone help me? Thxs.
