I made this cake for my boss' birthday last month - she's a big fan of the books. I used fondant, gum paste, and color flow to incorporate the themes from each of the book covers.

The picture is taken from my camera phone. Made on 11/6/2009 for a fellow Twihards' Birthday. Everything on this cake is 100% edible. Notice the representation of all 4 books and Team Jacob around the ribbon.

This was my first fondant cake that I ever made. I must admit it was a challenge. The cake inside is red velvet with cream cheese buttercream in between layers. I actually made it for a "Twilight Club" who read the twilight books.

I made this cake for my friends sister's birthday. I painted fondant on the cake board to give it a nice wood look as if on a desk. For the flower, I cut each petal frayed the ends and added texture to it giving it a more realistic look

Fangs and teeth are made out of mmf and put on the cake before I covered the rest of the cake. I was going for the romance with the heart shape and then suttle danger with the fangs. It's was fun.
