White cake iced and filled with chocolate buttercream, covered in fondant.  Fondant decorations.  Mask brushed with pearl dust to look mottled.  The whole white part was too, but not very visible.  (My third attempt at fondant.  Live and learn!)

This cake was for my nephews kindergarten graduation.  He loves Monsters vs. Aliens so we raided his toy box one night for these toys for the cake.  Funny thing is I think the adults were more excited about the cake than the kids!!

All gumpaste figure of spiderman was from a people mould.  I didn't make a lot of buildings like milliegonza did on the cake I took the theme from.  The webs from his hands to the stars was RI with a #2 tip to pipe.  I piped the vertical lines first...

Bottom cake is 8 inch round, top cake was made in the Sports Ball pan.  Both iced in buttercream with royal icing accents.  Superman is a royal icing transfer.

My mom asked me to make this yesterday and it was for today.  I have to say I am very pleased with the way it turned out.  It is chocolate fondant colored black.  The ghost sign is fondant and the slime is thinned down RI.  TFL!
