I wanted to make cakes that followed Pantone's spring color trends for 2013. I tried to stay within the linen, dusk blue, and Monaco blue tones, with a splash of poppy red. I like that the styles differ, but they tie into each other through color :)

This is a thank you gift for my son's school - The Home of the Stingrays!! :) It came out a little more "stuffy" than I had originallyn planned, but I still like it. TFL!!

This was my first try at hand painting a cake. I love the colors, and will try this again sometime using more color combinations. :)
