Thanks to roxnyny for this idea. It was a hit! Dark chocolate cake with chocolate syrup icing and filling. Surrounded by Kit Kats and filled with M&Ms. What's not to love?!

DH wanted a very chocolatey cake for his office last week and this is what I made. Dark chocolate cake (I added it to the recipes here.) with cocoa icing and a dark chocolate basketweave. Very yummy!

I made this for a friend who is doing the March of Dimes Walk today with other friends to honor their preemies. I'm not totally thrilled with it, mostly b/c I had some architectural problems with the top layer so I'm not too fond of sheet cakes...
