Sorry for the late response ginger6361--the pant are just shaped like fondant. If you add creases with a paring knife, it looks more realistic.

Add the torso and head (toothpick through the torso into the head). Let dry. Then, a day later, add the hair.

The Usual Suspects line-up reproduced in cake!  I made all the figurines by hand using fondant mixed with tylose and aine2's tutorials.  The figurines are replicas of the people from the movie--right down to their clothing and hand gestures.  The middle figure is a replica of my professor, who I made the cake for.  Cake is on the bottom and background is foamboard covered with fondant.
