I was just concerned that when the hats sat on the buttercream that the fondant would draw moisture and get really soft .... thank you for your help

I did the hats a day ahead and they firmed up nicely. I had no problems with them softening. Have fun with them!!

Witch Hats

Wanted to make a more grown-up cupcake for Halloween. Hats are made of MMF with a belt accent covered in edible disco dust. Chocolate cupcakes with BC icing.
