I used tip #1D to pipe the hills on the side and #352 to make the pines. Fondant is the foundation for the bear and royal icing was applied and textured to look like fur. He was painted with a petal dust and lemon extract mixture. The large pine is royal icing piped with #352 and dried over a parchment cone that was then peeled away. Tip #47 was used to cover a hidden pillar for the trunk.

Cakes for a boy's "Going Buggy Birthday Bash." Giant beetle is made from a soccer ball pan and cupcake; ladybug and bumblebee are sports ball pan and cupcakes; caterpillar is made from mini ball pans; worm is made from a bundt pan cut in half. All buttercream, except for fondant antennae and grass. "Dirt" is chocolate graham crackers. Every single cake had a different filling!

I made this for a little girl's birthday... she loves dolphins. I decorated the cake to look like an ocean theme. The dolphins were hand molded out of fondant, inserted lollipop sticks and set to dry. Once dry, then I coated each with luster dust so they'd sparkle. Cake sides were decorated with seaweed, fish and crabs. The cake border was crushed graham cracker crumbs for the ocean bottom and candy shells were molded and brushed with luster dust.

This was for my friend's birthday, who really likes wolves. It was made from the 3D bear pan. To get the multi-colored look, I put white and black icing in the same bag and used a tip with multiple circle holes. This way, each squeeze made some hairs in black, white, and gray.

Made this cake for my dd's 2nd birthday. This was soooo much fun to do! I'm really proud of this cake! Animals are fondant and chocolate clay, wafer cookies for the fence, shrubs are chocolate mini cupcakes covered in bc leaves. Top tier is chocolate fudge cake with chocolate filling, middle is strawberry cake with chocolate filling and bottom is half chocolate fudge and half french vanilla. I got candles that spell out "happy 2nd birthday mischa", but I haven't put them on yet.... will do at her party.

This cake is covered in fondx. The body is 2, 6x3 round pans, filled and stacked. The head is a 5x2 round pan filled. I covered the 6" and the 5" seperately and then placed dowel support through the body then put the head on. The arms, legs, ears, trunk and tail are fondx. Since this guy is bathing, I put blue tinted piping gel on flower wire( cloth covered wire) and stuck them in the trunk to make a shower effect and poured a little of the piping gel around the cake.

I have been dying to do a barn cake for a long time now so I decided to make it the theme for my sons 2nd birthday just so I could do it. ;)
I used the Wilton house pan for the barn and a 9x13 for the base. It is a yellow cake with BC and fondant accents. I took a few ideas from cake I saw by CustomCakesBySharon, DianeLM and mariak, THANKS!

I just finished my nephew's monkey cake. He's always been fascinated with monkeys. Even though he's a freshman in high school, his grandmother and I thought the cake would be most appropriate. The monkey cake is made out of white sour cream cake with chocolate buttercream. I used Wilton's black tube icing for the outline, because I didn't want to make the black icing. Any comments on how to improve it would be appreciated. I would like to thank Cambo for her inspiration for this cake.
