Amazing how the lid stands up at an angle! Is the lid also cake? or is it a styrofoam circle covered with fondant?

There are (2) skewers at the base of the lid. They go into the lid about 1-1/2" and all the way thru the base,.

Gorgeous!!! The ring is beautiful and the details are amazing all the way down to the quilting inside the lid.
