This was my entry in my local county fair. Base is a 10" square dummy covered in fondant and textured with RI in 2 shades. Glove is carved from pound cake and sealed with glue to form a makeshift dummy. Covered in fondant and shaded with cocoa. Ball is fondant covered styrofoam ball. The border is made of gumpaste peanuts and piped RI grass and the tiny ball and bat are gumpaste. This cake was a lot of fun to do.
