I know, I know... yet another hot pink and zebra cake lol. I make so many of these that I really brainstorm how I can do the design a little different and actually love how this one turned out, especially the sexy bottom layer with the black ruffle and pearl garland/drops. I also like how the roses on top kinda look like a tiara. There's edible black glitter on the 40 topper, cake is buttercream with fondant details.

Big thanks to cocobean for her cake & help with how to do it! This is a 6" square cake covered in fondant with a black and white striped bow (LOVE!) and hand drawn sunflowers colored with edible markers. Love the artsy look!

Oh I love this one!! A sweet gal at work is getting married & didn't have the budget for a wedding cake, so another lady at work asked me to make this for her- we're going to surprise her today, can't wait! She's non-traditional so I came up with this fun & colorful design with inspiration from several cakes on CC. 8" bottom/6" top iced in buttercream and decorated with fondant flowers loosely based on poppies. I used an edible black marker to make the dots on the white flowers. It doesn't show up too well in the photo but there is a black & white polka dot ruffle ribbon around the cake drum. Also including a dozen matching red velvet cupcakes for her. TFL!

This is a cake I made for my SIL's 30th birthday. White bc icing with black bc stencil, hot pink fondant accents. I was so excited/nervous about the design (first time doing a stencil) I didn't pay much attention to the construction & it's a little leaning to one side but overall I'm pleased. Monogram done using my funky tappits lower-case cutter. My 2nd time making a fondant loop bow and I was determined to get it right, nice & full with no gaps.
