This is my contribution to the June number of CC magazÃne. The theme was knotted fabric. Great fun to make and I'm so glad it made it into the mag.

A white and black fondant cake, 6 inches. Made as a small surprise for a good friend at work who turned 50 last week. Her favorite color is black so I went with that as the accent. Flower is gumpaste, the rest fondant, luster dust and silver dragÃ©es.
Rose's red velvet cake with fresh mango and white chocolate frosting as filling. TFL!

A wintery fondant cake with pale gold luster dust on snowflake globe and holly leafs. Sugar pearls for accents.
This was my first try with a new idea about making a light and airy globe out of snowflakes. I'll give it a new try soon and make it more like it looked in my mind :-D
